At times i have deadlines and my brain is clogged; This can be a real struggle, its difficult to focus, process information or complete tasks. Its like being constipated, I have come to realize this happens especially when i am researching or trying to come up with a solution to something.
I initially reacted to this problem by putting in more hours of work but this hardly made a difference. One of those times i felt that way again, i cut down on work time to find my way round it, I decided to let my brain to breathe by spending most of that extra time on things that excite me and help me relax.
* Long walks
* Watching TV ( especially documentaries and business TV shows)
* Listening to (loud) music
* Catching up with friends and family
* Mediating
* Exercise….

I don’t always have the luxury of time to do this whenever this happens but consciously i make out time every now and then to .
I call this exercise a brain massage ; it leaves my mind refreshed and stimulates my creative/innovative ability.
Our individual struggles in business differ but Like i said in my previous diary, i hope my real life experiences in business help you connect the dots in yours, the aim is not that you function like me; it is to enable you function like you so you are able to realize your full potential as an entrepreneur. I hope to discuss my understanding of people and situations in my next diary.
